Here is my first sketch of the basic outline of my brake bracket part. I extruded this and then went to do another sketch on top of that.
Here is sketch two after I extruded it to make the circles that stand out even more.
Final Inventor object
I uploaded this file from Inventor into Fusion360. I followed to the handout again of what settings I needed to change, and here is a screenshot of me running the tool path. It was successful, so I went down to the Innovation Center to cut it out in the mill.
After it was cut out on the mill, I used the laser to engrave my name into it.

Summary:
I used Inventor to make my brake part and followed the instructions on the handout to design it. I improved my skills on using dimensions to center circles. Inventor can be picky sometimes and you just have to learn how to work around it.
